“As a City of Tyler Plans Examiner and Building Inspector, I have had the opportunity to work with Gary Bayless in both the administrative and field aspects of construction. He is professional and organized, and his plan submittal and projects are always in full compliance. He is a problem-solver, and he has working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trades, as well as, the skills to coordinate, manage, and budget each project.
I look forward to future projects with Mr. Bayless if you should need any further information please feel free to contact me at the address below

“I have known Gary Bayless for approximately four years, both
professionally and as a friend. What I have learned about Gary is that
he cares about making each homeowner happy and will take the time
necessary to ensure each detail of the home is in line with the
homeowner's vision. I would recommend Bayless Custom Homes to anyone
interested in having a home built or remodeled, knowing the people I'm
sending would be in good hands.”

“Steadfast, kind, faithful, and passionate about serving others. Words that don’t fully describe the man I’ve known for over 30 years. I’ve been blessed to work with Gary on several fronts; as a customer, a contractor, a coworker and friend.
As a customer: Gary has always been loyal to suppliers who are willing to build partnerships of trust and integrity with him and his team. Gary develops a business relationship that is mutually beneficial. His handshake is his bond. He does what he says.
As a contractor: Gary skillfully completed a $50K remodel for my family. During construction, his team did everything possible to keep the kitchen area usable, the reading-room functional, and the living areas livable. He and his crew proficiently refurbished several rooms and completed their work in an equitable time frame. I highly recommend his work.
As a coworker: Gary and I labored together (alongside thousands of others) in building an incredible 4,500sf East Texas house in less than a week. Bayless Custom Homes was hand-picked to raze and re-build the Carr family home in Mineola, TX - for ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” television show. Gary asked me to volunteer as an overnight project manager… and to write daily articles for the Tyler Paper about the selfless night-shift workers. He made me promise to write the articles focusing on the sacrificial efforts of the volunteers and not him. A national audience got a taste of East Texas generosity, meekness and grace as Gary was photographed, filmed, interviewed, tugged and pulled in every direction. The project went smoothly due to Gary’s well-established association with professional subcontractors and vendors, his desire for excellence, and his ability to inspire a mindset of self-sacrifice to everyone involved.
As a friend: Gary is exactly that… a friend. He does things that count… but never stops to count them. Gary is a Godly family man who treats everyone he meets with kindness. It takes a long time to grow and old friend, and it’s safe to say, that I recommend this old friend without reservation.”
