We are careful not to take on too many projects per year, and our clients benefit from a responsive, hands-on-management approach. We believe that experience and superior service can achieve extraordinary results. Most of all we take pride in every home we build and focus on quality construction so our clients can truly realize their dream home is reality.

Gary Bayless is a native Texan who has been building homes for over 34 years. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he found his true passion building homes. Gary Bayless is married to his wonderful wife Vicki, a teacher at Robert E. Lee High School and have three grown children. Two graduated from Texas Tech University and one from University of Texas. He and his family attend Green Acres Baptist Church and frequently do philanthropy work with a program that was started by Bayless Custom Homes called “Widows In Need.” Gary also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tyler Area Builders Association. Selected to build a home for Extreme Home Makeover on ABC. Appointed to serve on City of Tyler Board of Adjustment.  Bayless Custom Homes has been voted Best Builders in East Texas the last two years, by Bscence magazine blank ballot.

Joe Runnels is married to his wonderful wife Kelli, a teacher at Robert E. Lee high School. They have two children. Ashley, who attends the University of Texas at Tyler, and Ryan who attends Robert E. Lee High School. He and his family attend Green Acres Baptist Church and stay active in the community.

Clint Bayless attended Texas Tech, Majored in Business Management, is the second generation to join Bayless Custom Homes. His knowledge in design and implementation follows closely with the philosophy at Bayless Custom Homes. His capability adds a new dimension to our Company.  He is involved with East Texas Food Bank and does volunteer work at Habitat for Humanity.
